Super Powered Comics: Wolverine – Contagion

I didnt’t expect much from Wolverine: The Best There Is. Reading the first issue in this collection, I really didn’t expect anything from it. But over 6 issues, I was actually surprised by the quality of Charlie Huston’s Wolverine yarn.

Contagion basically puts Wolverine up against the majority of the long-lived, regenerating heroes and villains of the Marvel Universe, going so far as to revive people like Madcap or Mortigan Goth from the 4 issue Marvel UK series Immortalis.

The story is graphic but entertaining, though it does have a bit of Saw-esque torture porn elements to it.
