It may not have been the best summer for pro wrestling in Iowa. First, Kurt Angle failed to show up for his Hall of Fame induction only to have his award auctioned off by Gerald Brisco. Then, the former Ring of Honor World Champion Davey Richards and company set back that company’s moves in Iowa by months during an allegedly crime filled weekend.
Now news comes out that during an Ottumwa stop for Impact Wrestling earlier this month, the TNA title belt was stolen by some overzealous fans. These are the stories you just can’t make up, folks.

But thankfully it isn’t all bad news. One of the three companies responsible for bringing Team Ambition on their excellent Iowa adventure, now has a television show on stations locally that can easily be watched through their Youtube channel. Last week’s episode featured the champion Benjamin Sailer in an impressive contest with Jaysin Strife, the man that helped get Team Ambition those bookings (much to his regret). It’s well worth a watch to see two not-so-well known local talents really shine.
