The easy pitch for Stonehearth is Minecraft meets Starcraft, but for me, it most reminds me of an underrated gem also inspired by a mix of games, Terraria. The game looks like all kinds of fun and well worth a shot at the big time. Give it a look.

I am not sure if I like all the hinted at political motivations of Bloodthirsty, but as a graphic novel, the thing looks gorgeous. And unlike so many comics from relative unknowns, Mark Landry seems to have his head together on how to move his comic into production. Give it a look.

Yeah, I have just been to a wrestling show and will probably be on the road or at home and sleeping for 12 hours when this goes up. But I will be sure to have a full report in the days ahead! (Unless something unfortunate would happen to me to send me traveling through time…)

Since I will be out of town on my way to a wrestling event for this update, it seems fitting that I feature an episode from Hulk Hogan’s classic (or is that infamous) cartoon. Check out Brad Garrett as the Hulkster!

It seems amazing that thirty years after Battletech first brought giant robots to tabletop gaming, its inspiration will finally get a full fledged wargame. Palladium Books has started their first Kickstarter to support Robotech RPG Tactics, a gorgeous looking book that expands their already large line of Robotech material with new wargaming rules. The miniatures look great and this could be the biggest thing to happen to Robotech in quite some time.

Our second Kickstarter comes after the jump for its more adult orientation.

Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose is about as far away from family friendly comics as you can imagine, but the title does a good job of embracing the basic concept of a tale of modern witches mixed with sexy comedy hi-jinks. It is a fun project that is now looking for funding to continue its graphic novel collection line. (It may also be one of the biggest arguments I know against how supposed feminist comic journalists view female friendly comics as it has more female fans than any book I have ever seen this side of Strangers in Paradise.)
