Beta Ray Thor - Super Powered Fiction

Someone should tell Thor he can fly.

After the events of issue 350, Thor and company continue their battle with Surtur’s horde, even as the fiery giant makes his way towards Asgard.

Meanwhile Balder and Karnilla continue to trade barbs in the land of the Norns.

As the battle rages on, Thor leaves Beta Ray in charge of New York’s defense as he flies after Surtur. He arrives to watch his fiery foe confront Heimdall on the Rainbow Bridge that connects Midgard (specifically New York) with Asgard.

Wait a minute! How could they cast Idris Elba as Heimdall? Clearly Mr. Elba's beard is in no way bushy enough.

Heimdall fights valiantly, but to no avail… even as Surtur shatters the Rainbow Bridge.

They just don't make rainbows like they used to.

Thor saves Heimdall from falling in to the ether, then moves to confront Surtur himself. But Surtur bats our hero around like a flee as he moves forward… and confronts the Lord of Asgard himself, Odin.
